[XYZ School] DraftPunk Homework 4

This 3D model is a high-fidelity photogrammetry scan of a section of the Casa da Roda in Caria, Portugal.

The "House of the Wheel" is a site of significant social importance, once serving as an institution where infants were anonymously abandoned to the care of the state or church via a revolving wooden cylinder—the "wheel". This specific section shows the granite exterior wall and the stone-framed aperture where the wheel mechanism was historically located.

Project Context:
This asset was developed as part of a doctoral research project in Design. The goal is to use Virtual Reality (VR) and digital reconstruction to challenge romanticized views of the past, fostering historical empathy by immersing users in the sensitive narratives of abandonment and care that define this space.
- Methodology: Photogrammetry / Unreal Engine 5.
- Location: Rua da Roda, Caria, Portugal.
- Purpose: Heritage preservation and empathetic storytelling.

Digital Twin:Casa Roda Exterior Wall(draft 0.02)

The E-75 "Standardpanzer" was intended to replace the Tiger II tank. For ease of manufacture, the vehicle was to be built on the same production lines as its predecessor, and share as many components as possible.

On paper, the E-75's upper front plate was angled at 60 degrees (compared to 55 for the Tiger II) Drafts showed that the upper front plate was meant to be 150mm for the E-75, increasing the effective thickness to around 300mm. Statistics of the turret was vague however, some proposed that the E-75 uses an enlarged Tiger II Krupp turret, others believed it was a completely new design.

Sadly, not a single E-75 sample was ever built.

The E-75 BLM (Besondere Leistung Modernisiert) is the main battle tank variant of the original E-75 in an alternative timeline. It features explosive reactive armour (ERA), modular composite armour on the turret and a thermal sight for the gunner.

Bolt Action scenarios are often objective based, and the number of objectives and the type of objectives has varied since the game’s introduction in 2012.The primary source of scenarios is a mix of Rule Book, with their random scenario format, and narrative scenarios from the old theatre books and such third-party groups as the Bolt Action Alliance.The only reference to the size of an objective marker in v. 3 is in the Key Positions scenario, which notes a 25mm round objective. Up to seven can be on the table in that scenario.The sticky objective has become a more common feature, and being able to know in whose possession an objective is - as a unit no longer has to stay with the objective- I was looking for a simpler way to do so.On top of that, some third-party scenarios call for 40mm round objectives, I wanted an easily convertible system.I did up markers that can cover off most nations in the game, as noted in the photo. The tri-colour roundel works for many nations. Alternately, you can just use the allied “white star” for any army associated with the Allies.** I received some marker draft .stls from Chris Cassaday, namely SAS, Afrika Korps and 7th Armoured Division, and he asked that is they could be incorporated into this bundle. Chris's effort spurred me to do up ones for the British Para Regt, an edelweiss for German Gebirgsjäger Mountain troops, and the fasces for the Axis Italians.The actual disk is 25mm, the 40 x 40mm disk has a recess to loosely fit the 25mm marker in it, so it can be removed if the objective changes hands, and the 40mm marker just stay as it is.The ? is to note the objective has yet to be seized by either player.I printed these in both filament and resin, and they are simple, quick and durable.
