The original scans were first remeshed with [mmgs](http://mmgtools.org), and decimated, UV unwrapped and baked in blender. Normal maps are ready to use for Unreal Engine, but don't forget to flip their green channel in Unity!

From the wiki: "Conceptualized for Van Buren by Chris Applehans and modeled by Glenn Price, the Lil' Pip is not mentioned in design documents, suggesting it came about later in development. Joshua Sawyer later included it in his tabletop RPG, describing it as a much less cumbersome device worn on the forearm, but offering all the functionality of its bigger variant. The device used integrated circuits, rather than vacuum tubes, a flip-up split-screen monitor with three display colors to choose from (green, blue, and red), and could accept up to six data tubes as expansion hardware to expand its functionality. However, it was not a sales success, due to the fragility of the device, as compared to the rugged 2000 series. It could read holodisks like any other device, using a loading tray."

This unique 3D model is a tactile mechanical version of the classic Tic Tac Toe game constructed from light grained natural pine. A stone inscribed in blacklettering (Gothic script) in the back side of the so called screen wall at St Mary's Church (now museum, whatever the name is when you read this) in Kilkenny. It is built into the wall upside down, but I have flipped it to make it easier to read:

"[...]?ny · quondam · burgensis · ville [...]<br />[...] · precorut · tua · i(n)ettabili · mia & gra[tia] ·tol? [...]<br />[...] · su[n]t · et · sepelientur · in · isto · loco · ame[n]" (partly taken from HEV description, but some of it is my reading).

The HEV gives the translation "ye sometime burgess of the town (of Kilkenny) / say a prayer you (who pass) and / was buried in this place. Amen." (line breaks added by me - it shold be "were buried", bc the verb is in the plural form)
