La xinxa de la malva (Oxycarenus lavaterae), sovint confosa amb el coralet (Pyrrhocoris apterus), és un insecte hemípter que passa per un cicle vital d'hemimetabolisme (metamorfosi incompleta), és a dir, no té fase de pupa i la forma jove s'assembla a l'adulta.Les seves etapes de desenvolupament són:1. Ous: La femella pon els ous (generalment a la primavera) a les flors, fulles o esquerdes de l'escorça de les plantes hostes (malves, tells).2. Larves (o nimfes): Passen per cinc estadis nimfals. En aquestes etapes, són més petites, generalment vermelloses i sense ales desenvolupades. Durant aquest temps, s'alimenten de la saba de la planta.3. Adults: Després del darrer estadi, es converteixen en adults, que es caracteritzen per ser de color negre amb el tòrax d'un vermell intens, d'entre 9 i 11 mm de llarg. Són gregàries i es poden observar amuntegades en grans grups, especialment als troncs dels tells.Aquesta espècie pot completar dues o més generacions durant l'estiu en condicions favorables.

– The displacement is based on the difference between F2 and F1 voronoi, fractalized (scale is repeatedly multiplied by constant "n", texture is also repeatedly divided by n, all passes are added together)
– The normal map is just Improved Perlin Noise (16 octaves)
Materials:
– Glass (Transmissive)
    – Refraction (IOR = 1.330)
    – Glossy
    –Mix based on fresnel reflectance (i_0 + (1-i_0)(1-cos(incoming angle))^5)
– Volumetric
    – Very little absorption
    – A little more but still little scattering
These models can be used, as long as ***credit is given***

The primary allure of this sculpture lies in its powerful evocation through incompleteness. Despite the absence of head and arms the remaining torso speaks volumes perhaps more so than a fully intact figure might. The expertly rendered musculature and anatomical balance highlight the sculptural mass and physicality as the true subject of beauty.
