3D Print of Scale test 93%
Description
Scaled it downward to test the viability of using some remote puck lights I had on hand; would recommend using the intended "insert inside the light screen" position, as it's pretty well designed but I was too excited to print the model to remember to check the dims of *that* circular cavity, rather than the one on the bottom where the wiring for a switch model would go. All in all very pleased with how it went, strong recommendation to keep a good infill and wall count on the frame portions of the lamp if you're going to assemble/disassemble, the Botttom-Middle portions pop easily (great job with that, btw, I know from experience getting it good can be a hassle) but the Top-Middle is (reasonably) pretty tight, so plan ahead. Brighter lights are better if you use anything that doesn't translate light easily and you want a solid glow, this was Translucent Clear PETG and it glowed white but too pale for my taste- User error ahoy!
This is what made me go All In, and I am very happy.
