Dr. Eggman (Ivo Robotnik) is a megalomaniacal mad scientist with an IQ of 300 and a burning desire to build his own utopia, the Eggman Empire. Despite his eccentric personality and frequent defeats by Sonic, he is a master roboticist who builds massive armies of Badniks and world-threatening weapons. Following his defeat in Sonic Forces, he temporarily lived as a kind amnesiac named Mr. Tinker, but once his memories returned, he became more "savage" than ever. He is best known for creating the Metal Virus, a technological plague that nearly roboticized the entire planet, showing a terrifying willingness to risk everything just to prove his intellectual superiority.
