Her husband experimented foolishly with a dangerous tome, and in the process she suffered a heart attack at the frightful things she saw. After death, she has become Moonscream, a banshee, wishing to punish mortals for the life so cruelly stolen from her. -Epitaph In game: Moonscream is a Banshee who can be first encountered in Summoners Not Included, where she's bound to her own grave in the basement Like all Banshees, Moonscream wants revenge for an injustice committed against her in life. In her case, that injustice is her death, which was caused by her husband Dr. Krauss. Krauss seems to have dragged her into his dangerous arcane rituals against her will, which resulted in her losing her mind, then dying of a heart attack soon after. He buried her body in the corner of the basement where he conducted his research into the ancient tome that contains the ritual to summon the Darkling.
