He wears an elaborate headdress made of maize leaves and a loincloth with a belt decorated with beads. Among the surrounding foliage, a maize cob (mazorca) and a bird can be distinguished. Two additional small animals, a small deer (Odocoileus virginianus) and an opossum (Didelphis marsupialis), are positioned on either side of his legs.
