The front of the disc is decorated with a quatrefoil, with roundels at the tips, while a trefoil is attached to each of the arches. The decorative design is complemented by a rim with a pearl frieze. The rim is serrated at the back and has a compact, triple-profiled rim at the transition to the front. The computer tomography analysis reveals the presence of a figurine on the quatrefoil, depicted as a left-facing, hairy animal with a bushy tail. This object was digitized through the ‘Kulturerbe digital’ program of the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Public Service and Sport.
