One of the projects in my second year of college is to make an arcade cabinet based one one of the three themes: Retro Classic, Motorsport, or Rhythm/Music. I chose Rhythm/Music because it's my favourite out of the three and it was the theme that gave me an idea for a game to make in the future. The overall concept is about two fictional bands, which I've named 'ToU4All' and 'SharpN' Bass', that have come together to perform at a concert in the field. The game concept is inspired by 'Fortnite Festival' for being able to pick which instrument to play and having an extra lane for the hardest difficulty, 'Friday Night Funkin' mostly for the buttons on the screen being arrow keys and having the option for downscroll but a story mode similar to the Weeks does sound fun, and 'BanG Dream!' for having multiple fictional bands, swaping out members, and a mix of original songs and covers.
