The tiger tail seahorse is a species of seahorse native to the coral reefs of the western Pacific Ocean. It has a slender body and a long thin tail patterned with black and white rings resembling a tiger skin. Tiger Tail Seahorses are more nocturnal and feed on small crustaceans and plankton. Due to their striking appearance they are very popular with divers and aquarists.
