The M163 VADS (Vulcan Air Defense System) is an American tracked, self-propelled anti-aircraft gun used by the United States Army. Introduced during the Vietnam War, it pairs a heavily modified M113 armored personnel carrier chassis with a 20mm M61 Vulcan rotary cannon.
