Merlin Engine

Description

This Rolls Royce Merlin engine from a crashed World War 2 Hurricane aircraft and is now located in the Battle of Britain Bunker Visitor Centre, Uxbridge. The plane was piloted by Peter Beverley Robinson and was shot down in June 1940 near Dieppe, France. The pilot survived and went on to fight in the Battle of Britain. 218 photos taken in August 2021 with a Sony a7R III and processed in Reality Capture.
