Walking through historical places – there used to be a narrow‑gauge railway here. I found an old pickaxe that perfectly fits the year and theme for a location in my game. I scanned it with my phone (video + every 10th frame – works way better than tons of photos), optimized the scan in Blender, and added it to the level. Optimization trick: create a duplicate with clean topology, bake the textures – you get photorealistic quality with low poly count and full material control. Watch till the end to see it in the game!
