Description
A 3D model inspired by the The Vast Land / [A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wang_Ximeng), by Wang ximeng, a painter of the Norther Song dynasnty, China. Painted in 1113, Wang Ximeng was only 18 years old when he painted the master piece. To the disappointment of everyone, including the artist Emperor Huizong, who personally taught him, Wang Ximeng died shortly after, depriving us of any further masterpieces. The painting is now in Palace Musuem Beijin, and was influiential for many generations to come!
Made in Houdini and textured in Blender.

The model was used for a real time volumetric fog, which you can read more about [here](https://shahriyarshahrabi.medium.com/interactive-volumetric-fog-with-fluid-dynamics-and-arbitrary-boundaries-f82fdee86397).
