The background is characterised by a cross-hatching pattern. The hands are set within a raised band inscribed with the German phrase "+ LIEB AN ENDE", which translates to "love forever". This inscription is further embellished with niello technique. The ring plate is distinguished by a smooth ring band with a trapezoidal cross-section. The width of the component at the ring shoulder is slightly greater than at other points, and it abuts the narrow side of the ring plate.
