Champa was a people who raised in Central and Southern Viet Nam between VII-XV Century. Discovered in Dai Huu village, Binh Dinh province of Viet Nam in the early 20th Century, this statue of Shiva made of sandstone is one of the most remarkable artifacts of Champa sculpture. It is an example of their later era (XIV Century), when the stylization of the forms became more important than realism.
