Piaractus Brachypomus, or the Red Pacu Piranha is not a real Piranha, though of the same family Serrasalmidae, its genus (Piaractus) and species (Brachypomus) are very different, though it gets mistaken a lot because of its identical looks, compare with the Red- Bellied Piranha for instance. Vibrant colors it has, its actually more of a herbivor, so kinda like a red piranha with power saving energy constantly enabled. It will measure up to near 90cm which to me makes no sense in keeping privately, its weight can get 40 pounds, so unless youre in a castle...
