The folded foot has an attached needle rest on which there is a highly stylised bird's head. The spring is attached to the bow, which is bent at an angle and has an triangular cross-section and notched decorations. The wide, single-piece crossbow construction has an iron pin inserted across the spiral rollers and a needle.
