Description
This is the GG-1 electric locomotive prototype built by General Electric in 1934. Though later models had their body plates welded, this one was riveted giving it the nickname "Old Rivets". The GG-1 locomotive was manufactured from 1934 to 1943, and saw service for nearly 50 years, from 1935 - 1983.
