江の島 弁財天と世界女性群像噴水池 This fountain is located on Enoshima Island in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It was built to commemorate the Tokyo Olympics (1964). There are five statues in the fountain, with Benzaiten (Goddess of Mercy) in the center, surrounded by four statues from the East: Horyu-ji Temple's Baekje Kannon , the West: ancient Greek female statues, the Classics: Western female nudes, and the Modern: Southeast Asian dancing girls.
