19th-century round-topped shouldered headstone of Margaret Ryan (born c. 1787) who died aged 16 in 1803 & was buried in Nenagh graveyard, Kenyon Street, Co. Tipperary. Inscription framed by a border of lozenges. Above the inscription the headstone is decorated with two flowering plants flanked on either side by a ciborium or communion cup topped with a cross and orb. Above this there is an I H S Christogram with Latin Cross rising from the crossbar of the H within a sunburst and Latin Motto Gloria In Excelsis Deo.
