Description
This open square pavilion (MAHS-THA-YLA-MUY-NAT-S-001-F-0003) is a concrete religious structure enclosed by low walls, with an entrance on each side and a four-sided lean-to roof topped by a square-base stupa. Blue and yellow painted murals and Thai inscriptions depict episodes from the Buddha’s life. The ceiling shows Chulamani Chedi in the heavenly realm, surrounded by devas on clouds. At the center sits a metal Buddha image in the Subduing Mara pose on a tall lotus base, with a Garuda painting on the rear of the pedestal.
