The object has a long neck, is equipped with a fastening mechanism and has a curved shape. The star-shaped wheel is mounted so that it can move at the widened end. Towards the end of the 13th century, a movable wheel was attached to the spurs of the spike tip. This reproduction of the spike can be considered an optimisation of the spur, as its arrangement exerts a stronger effect on the horse's loins.
