A new version of this model has been uploaded with a more accurate texture. Surface scan of a Galapagos giant tortoise from the D’Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum at the University of Dundee. Chelonoidis nigra (originally catalogued as Testudo elephantopus) - Galapagos Giant Tortoise. Length = 82cm. Scanned with an Artec Eva surface scanner. The resulting file is exported as an obj. and imported into Zbrush. Texture is added from photographs using the Spotlight function and Polypainting.
