Nelgai The Nilgai (Boselaphus tragocamelus), or "blue bull," is Asia's largest antelope, endemic to the Indian subcontinent. Known for its horse-like build, sloping back, and bluish-grey coat (males), this diurnal herbivore prefers scrub forests and plains. They are generally social, found in herds, and are adaptable, sometimes damaging crops.
