Dreadroamers are highly xenophobic, filthy creatures who travel the stars in stolen fleets, attacking and murdering wherever they encounter life. Their pirate fleet usually consists of a variety of rag-tag vessels that have been captured from the other races. These vessels tend to be in poor condition and have often been overly-modified to suit the orc-like dreadroamer’s taste. They are a violent, ugly species whose physical appearance varies quite a bit. They tend to be hideous, troll-like and non-symmetrical, and have cybernetically modified their bodies for war. Such is the nature of their biology that dismembered limbs will grow back through-and-around existing impediments in a matter of days. They commonly use this ability to graft weapons and gear to their (vaguely humanoid) forms.
