Description
The imperial crown was often an intricately designed piece of jewelry made from valuable materials such as gold silver and precious stones. It was an important symbol of power and status and was often worn on important occasions such as coronations and other ceremonies. The imperial crown often had special symbolic meaning for the particular country or empire it represented. For example the crown of the Holy Roman Empire was decorated with an eagle symbolizing the empire.
