At the center of the vessel wall is a relief representation of the Old God (Pahuahtún), wearing a headband and a snail positioned atop the head, with round earspools and a beaded necklace with pectoral. The deity features open eyes, expression lines, and wrinkles achieved through incision, and an open mouth showing a single tooth on the left side.
