"Incense burner with a decorated lid featuring a skeleton figure with hands on its waist, with ribs depicted in detail (achieved through grooves and molded elements). It likely references the god Mictlantecuhtli, known in other Mesoamerican cultures as the “Lord of Mictlán” or “Lord of the Land of the Dead.” Its Maya counterpart is Ah Puch, also known as Ah Cimih, Kisin (“The Stinking One”), or Yum-Kimil. In Maya mythology, he is the god and ruler of Mitnal, the underworld."
