In one of those “out there” news items, Call of Duty: Warzone may soon be getting a visit from the likes of Godzilla and King Kong. According to Xfire, Activision is potentially planning on having the King Kong and Godzilla arrive for events in Warzone later this year, in addition to “more spectacular global in-game events” planned. Xfire states that they were provided with images from a now-deleted Twitter account. Among the images were “King Kong swatting a WW2 plane out of the sky whilst soldiers aimed rifles at him in the distance” and “Godzilla destroying troops below with a bright blue beam”. Granted, these images were concept art, but the noteworthy aspect of these images was that they were alongside Warzone Season 2 images.
