One of the catacombs entries. Convenient entries like this one are pretty rare, and usually locked (being only used by the police and the Geological Inspection Dept (*Inspection Générale des Carrières*). Most of the catacombs galleries in the *Grand Reseau Nord* are about 60 ft beneath the surface, though there are galleries that run even deeper (down to 90 ft deep).
