-A brief, anecdotal reminder- The 'Topox' case includes: -HP41 CX + memory expansion modules -HPIL loop for controlling the following accessories: -a digital cassette player -a thermal printer -Topocom software (real-time data entry and calculations, management of point files addressable by point numbers) -a charging unit for recharging all peripherals with LED charge indicator -a removable lid. -HP41 CX + memory expansion modules -HPIL loop for recharging all peripherals with LED charge indicator -a removable lid The system was operational as early as 1983 using a ZEISS Elta46 device. Note: Later, the Topocom software evolved (Topo6tem) to control servo motor stations such as the SM540, 640, and 5601. This system was then installed on an HP IPAQ Business Navigator and used Bluetooth connections for complete machine control. Thanks to this system, my wife and I could respond to our clients' requests in real time.
