Description
Horse tamer at the bottom of the ramp of the Parliament in Vienna. The statue was created by sculptor Josef Lax in 1899 and erected in 1901. The four horse tamers are intended to symbolize the suppression of passion that is necessary for productive parliamentary cooperation.
