The Assault Airship is a large aerial vehicle used as an assault ship by the US military, mainly appearing in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and making a minor appearance in Call of Duty: Mobile. It was capable of carrying a large quantity of cargo, supplies, vehicles and troops on to the battlefield, possessing a sizeable internal cargo hold that is comparable to terrestrial vessels such aircraft carriers. The airships had launch bays to deploy drop pods during an assault, allowing it to quickly drop in a small fire team of troops on the battlefield. These pods were launched from a lower level of the airship.
