It will serve the purpose of being a replacement of the Hayosiko van - it will be a reliable vehicle that the player can use for commuting, or hauling items. Unlike Hayosiko, it will be owned by the player from the beginning of the game. Toplessgun stated that there might be an alternative ending in My Summer Car, in which we can see the player exchanging their Satsuma for this car[1]. It however is unlikely, as he stated later on a livestream that he might not do it because of effort and time.
