## Scanning The front was scanned in IR mode for large parts at 1mm resolution with hybrid tracking (texture and geometry). The environment was less than ideal for scanning: Harsh sunlight from the side with a crystal clear sky so no scattered light for better conditions. Also the paint was recently waxed and freshly cleaned... For the scan itself I slowly moved around the car trying to capture all crevices, only tracking problems were encountered on the center of the hood (no features and no texture). ## Post-Processing Only point cloud generation and meshing at recommended settings. Scan was later reduced and aligned to the coordinate system in Quicksurface.
