In his hands, the saint holds a cross, which he carries before him and gazes upon—a typical attribute of Nepomuk, symbolizing his piety and martyrdom. His posture appears overall reserved and composed, almost meditative. The pedestal beneath the figure features Baroque-style curves and is adorned with ornamental decorations and a coat-of-arms relief. In the upper section of the pedestal, small arch-like openings are suggested, reminiscent of a bridge. This detail indicates that the statue originally stood near a bridge—a common motif, as John of Nepomuk is considered the patron saint of bridges.
