This simple table comes from Shanxi, china, circa 1880 and still has its original dark wood lacquer finish and more recently added, although still very old unusual hardware. Its tapered legs and 'horse hoof' feet add charm and elegance to this small console table. With two useful small drawers, this was probably once used as a small desk but would look great today as a dressing table or as a console table in a hallway or reception room.
