Refraction is the phenomenon that makes light bend when passing through different transparent materials due to the velocity of light changing in different media. It makes objects behind the refractive material look distorted. Refraction is useful for simulating glass, water, gemstones, and many other transparent materials.

In 2004, the reborn Bugatti brand transformed the world of automotive performance and luxury with a 1,001 hp hyper sports car: the Veyron. The first road car with more than 1,000 hp was succeeded in 2016 by another engineering feat so ambitious it reset all expectations of performance, the world's first 1,500 hp car: the Chiron. At the heart of these cars was the world's most advanced automotive engine: an 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16. Now, 20 years after Bugatti invented the hyper sports car, it redefines the concept completely with an entirely new powertrain and platform.

Im Juli 2015 wurden in Risch-Rotkreuz ZG ein Stosszahn und verschiedene weitere Knochenfragmente (rot markiert) eines adulten Mammutbullen entdeckt. Ausweislich zweier Radiokarbondatierungen gehören die Knochen an das Ende der letzten Eiszeit bzw. in die Zeit um 15‘000 v. Chr.<br>

On the occasion of its F1 debut in three and a half years, the brand with the rings will be associated with the structure founded by Peter Sauber.

At the end of last August, Audi announced its historic arrival in Formula 1 in 2026. Two months later, the German manufacturer has released a new press release to provide more details on its strategy for entering the discipline. As expected, Audi's commitment will be made in partnership with the Swiss team Sauber, but it was still unclear how the tasks would be divided between the two entities.

"Sauber is a partner of choice for the use of the Audi powertrain," explains Adam Baker, the company's managing director. "We look forward to working with an experienced team that has marked many milestones in the history of Formula 1. Together, we will write the next chapter, scheduled for 2026." More than 120 employees are already working on the development project for the powertrain, consisting of an electric motor, battery, control systems and combustion engine.

The Ferrari F40 is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, two-door coupé sports car produced by Ferrari from 1987 to 1992 as the successor to the Ferrari 288 GTO. From 1987 to 1989 it held the title as the world's fastest street-legal production car, and during its years of production, was Ferrari's fastest, most powerful, and most expensive car. It was intended that there were to be 400 Ferrari F40 made, all painted red, but a total 1,315 F40s were produced.

Through its design language alone, the **Porsche Carrera GT** expresses its truly outstanding performance as an uncompromising, no-nonsense supersports. But contrary to prototypes conceived only for racing, the design of the Carrera GT, despite the re-interpretation of existing features and the use of design elements never seen before, shows a convincing resemblance in design to Porsche's production cars, even providing a certain reminiscence of Porsche's legendary racing cars. The typical Porsche face with the front lid swept back like an arrow and the elevated wheel arches, for example, take up the design of Porsche's legendary sports cars.
