A second generation 3008 was announced by Peugeot in May 2016, and was first presented to the public at the Paris Motor Show in September 2016. Its design allows the vehicle to come into contention with large competitors in the C segment market of SUVs, which has been a prominent market in the past years. It features Peugeot's new iCockpit, which is an improved design compared to the current iCockpit featured in the Peugeot 208, Peugeot 2008 and Peugeot 308. The second generation was introduced on 23 May 2016.Features include an eight-inch touch screen to the centre console, a 12.3-inch customisable heads up display, and the small style steering wheel, which has become standard in all current models of Peugeot.

Venus de Milo #StatuesTexturingChallenge [SMK]

**The Peugeot 308 III is a compact sedan from the French automobile manufacturer Peugeot marketed from September 2021. Produced in Mulhouse, France, it is the third generation of Peugeot 308 and succeeds the second generation produced since 2013.

**It is available in three body styles: a 5-door sedan, an estate (named “SW”) but also a 5-door sedan/SUV-coupé derivative called 408.

2022 | Peugeot 308

The 3D model presents a digital twin of a theatrical costume for Glafira Alekseevna in the play “Wolves and Sheep” (1875) by A.N. Ostrovsky. The costume was modelled by using historical block patterns, 2D scans of textile materials and 3d scans of contemporary actors. Anthroscan, Clo3D, 3dsMax, PixPaint and SubstancePainter software programs were applied. 3D scan of a Protoceratops (*Protoceratops andrewsi*) skeleton. *Protoceratops andrewsi* was a horned dinosaur (Ceratopsia) the same group to which the Triceratops also belongs. Protoceratops lived in late Cretaceous (75 - 71 millions years ago) in Asia. 

The skeleton was found in Mongolia and bought by the NHMW in 1998.

Protoceratops andrewsi (NHMW-GEO-2015/0404/0001)

Neoclassical bridge built in the second half of the 18th century by one of the best Spanish architects: Juan de Villanueva (1739-1811). This bridge was part of what is known as Canal de Gran Prior, a large hydraulic infrastructure that sought to achieve better use of the water from the Guadiana river in La Mancha. It is currently preserved intact in the small town of Alameda de Cervera (Alcázar de San Juan, Spain).

Processed in Reality Capture from 3082 images. Additional processing completed in Geomagic Wrap, Meshlab, and Blender.

This work is part of the collaboration agreement signed in 2020 between the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha and Global Digital Heritage for the digitization of the Cultural Heritage of Castilla-La Mancha region.

And yet **another WIP** for Sketchfab Texturing Challenge, with simpler (so less convincing) but much more optimized materials and textures (2k only, hence a lack of details...) than on the [Aquamarine Venus](https://skfb.ly/6xY6Y).

Considering the challenge "philosophy" (representation of gender in classical sculpture), I am not 100% convinced by the naive burnt/amber/fire war figure vs. washed/aquamarine/water deity opposition, and these models don't really have a "classical sculpture" feel to them...

I guess I'll have to make a choice if I ever want to participate in the contest!
