The Type 87 Reconnaissance and Patrol Vehicle, also known as Burakkuai (Romaji for "black eye") or Type 87 ARV (for Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle) for short, is a 6x6 wheeled Armoured Fighting Vehicle designed and manufactured by multinational heavy industry manufacturer Komatsu Limited and employed exclusively by the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces. The JGSDF continued to commission new units up until as recently as 2013

Here's a npr-model I did mainly for a telegram stickerpack, but also to practice rigging. It's a stilized otter using a version of the good old inverted hull shading to get outlines.

The rig has IK/FK switching, variable IK chain lengths, stretch-IK-switching, FK saling, powerful yet simple spine controls and an eye setup, that I kind of need to improove in the future ... if you want to have a crack at the model yourself, consider [forking it the model on gitlab](https://gitlab.com/betalars/otterly-adorable).

The materials are mainly built for quick prototyping in blender, it all kind of also works in realtime, but I'd put in a bit more optimisation before adding it to a game.

CL1M12 is a purpose-driven off-road / army-focused vehicle concept combining armored protection, modular utility, and sculpted hard-surface styling. The silhouette balances a high, blunt front for protection and a long, boxy cargo/passenger bay, with heavy fendering and triple axles for traction and load capacity.

Key features

1. Design intent: Military / tactical off-road carrier, suited for troop transport, logistics, or utility conversions.

2. Configuration: 6×6 wheel arrangement with reinforced fenders and underbody protection.
 
3. Hard-surface styling: Clean panels, sculpted wheel guards, and subtle ornamentation tuned for renderer/real-time clarity.
