It was a one day challenge, modeled in Blender and textured in Substance Painter. I reused quite a lot of models from Sketchfab, otherwise I would not manage to make it in time. Most of them were retextured to fit selected art direction.

SSRBs_Hololive

The Lion of Aspern is a war memorial created by Anton Dominik Fernkorn, which was erected in 1858 at Asperner Heldenplatz (today a district of Vienna). The sculpture is made of sandstone and commemorates the Austrian soldiers who died in the battle of Aspern.

Fernkorn created a larger-than-life sculpture of a lying, dying lion on a stone base with an oak leaf garland on a stone foundation. Between the front paws is a Napoleonic eagle, under the body an emperor's cloak, and on the left side of the body are field signs. The lion is pierced by a lance whose tip protrudes behind the left shoulder blade of the animal below the mane.

This is a model made for a school assignment. Sculpted with focus on human anatomy and textured in Substance Painter to highlight the anatomy. Assets made to highlight the feeling of the character and visualization. 

The character and spear is on 28 858 tris, the rest is the enviroment and podium.

A big point cloud of the Humility Brings Prosperity gate, now installed in Gallery 200 at Mia.

Update Note: 
1. Legs are now seperated from body, making animation more accessible, but not perfect, use with caution.
2. 3 types of blendshape facial spots available.
3. 2 eye blendshapes available, eye open/close/relaxed, eyes are movable.
4. Made its tail a bit more rounded.
5. Blendshape mouth and tooth, tooth are retractable, mouth is movable.
6. Face can now be tweak and moved for motion.

This took way longer than I expected due to the legs, it's really difficult for me to figure out how to make it stretchy yet IK relative, it sorta works now, but I can imagine a lot of people having trouble if not rendering in flat shade as it might look weird.

Regardless, glad I'm able to get this out before Halloween!

Maria Fjodorovna Barjatinskaja (1793-1858) Statue in marble, after the original model from 1818 (A171). Thorvaldsen Museum (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta (now ReMake) from AutoDesk.

 The Russian Princess Maria Barjatinskaja came to Rome in 1818 with her husband. At his wish, she was modelled by Thorvaldsen. The marble sculpture was created in 1821-25, but was never delivered. After the Princess’s death, her family demanded to have the statue handed over, but instead accepted a copy made by Thorvaldsen’s most important Danish apprentice, the sculptor H. W. Bissen. Today the sculpture is in the Pushkin Museum in Moscow.
