*MV Spartan* was built in 1942 and is one of only two surviving Scottish-built 'puffers': a type of steam-powered cargo vessel first built during the 1850s for use on the Clyde and Forth Canal. Now Spartan is on the Designated List of the National Historic Ships Committee and it was the first vessel in the museum's collection when it was established in 1983.

*MV Spartan* is one of the most important objects in the Scottish Maritime Museum's collection. It sits just outside the Linthouse building, where most of our collection is housed. 
The vessel is not availabe to visit for the public, but we have a [virtual tour available online](https://www.scottishmaritimemuseum.org/virtualtours/) if you fancy a walk up the deck and inside!

The model was created as a part of 'Scanning The Horizon' 3D digitisation project.

Abandoned water canal

This building was part of a harbor, that was never finished. Located in Leipzig, Germany at the end of Karl-Heine-Canal. I scanned the building with a Mavic 2 Pro, used RealityCapture to compute a 40 Million and a 250K Poly Version and then moved the Detail from High to Low via Normal Maps. Finally I computed roughness and metalness maps via ShaderMap4. 

The Model contains 1 250K Poly FBX and 6 4K UDIM's

Abandoned Building: Speicher Leipzig Lindenau 01

The hermitage of Santa Coloma located in the Guadalajara region of Spain is one of the jewels of Spanish Romanesque art. Built possibly in the XII century after the Christian conquest of this territory, its most valuable element is its apse. The windows are decorated with beautiful latticework carved in stone. The hermitage was reformed and enlarged in the XV century. 

The model was made in Reality Capture software using 419 images captured with a DJI Phantom 4+ drone.  

We want to thank the Diocesan Delegation of Cultural Heritage of Guadalajara, especially its cultural delegate Mr. Miguel Ángel Ortega Canales, for the facilities they have given us and for the interest they have shown in the project.

Esferas del dragón / Dragon Balls

Consists of a handle and the axe head. Axe is shaped as a crescent, is made from copper alloy. Handle is wooden, round, plugged with a steel plate with longitudinal canals. The blunt side is decorated with engraced figure of a bird. Both sides of the axe head are decorated with floral ornament with two stylized figures of animals.

Decorative Battle Axe

Neoclassical bridge built in the second half of the 18th century by one of the best Spanish architects: Juan de Villanueva (1739-1811). This bridge was part of what is known as Canal de Gran Prior, a large hydraulic infrastructure that sought to achieve better use of the water from the Guadiana river in La Mancha. After decades of abandonment, it was excavated and recovered in 2021. It is currently preserved intact a few kilometers from the small town of Alameda de Cervera (Alcázar de San Juan, Spain).

Processed in Reality Capture from 4058 images. Additional processing completed in Geomagic Wrap, Meshlab, and Blender.

This work is part of the collaboration agreement signed in 2020 between the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha and Global Digital Heritage for the digitization of the Cultural Heritage of Castilla-La Mancha region.

A Second World War concrete anti aircraft tower located on the east bank of the Lee Valley Navigation canal, directly east of Cheshunt Station car park.

Cheshunt Bofors Tower

Bronze lion on the Schemerl Bridge over the Danube Canal in the 19th district of Vienna. The bridge was built in 1894-1899 to the design of Otto Wagner and named after Joseph Maria Schemerl von Leythenbach, architect and hydraulic engineer. The two lions on the bridge were designed by Rudolf Weyr. The bridge also serves as a weir and, as part of the Nussdorf weir and lock system, regulates the inflow of Danube water into the Danube Canal.

Löwe

The current church of La Barbolla (Siguenza, Spain), in baroque style, was built between 1744 and 1750, having been designed by the architect Antonio Martínez, who died in 1746, before seeing his work completed.

Previously there was another church, which due to being in poor condition had to be repaired in 1680. Possibly from this primitive church, which has completely disappeared today, comes a curious tombstone, decorated with two skulls and two tibias, which says: “Mrs. Librada Ruiz, wife of Mr. Domingo López, is buried here, died on June 23, 1591. Requiescan in pace.”

La Barbolla Church, Siguenza Spain

This 3D model showcases the digestive system of a leech (Class Hirudinea), created for educational and anatomical visualization. It accurately represents the alimentary canal, highlighting the structural adaptations of blood-feeding annelids such as Hirudinaria granulosa.

The model includes the mouth and muscular pharynx, followed by a short oesophagus leading into a large crop with paired lateral caeca, specialized for food storage. Posteriorly, the intestine, rectum, and dorsal anus are shown in correct anatomical position. The system is color-coded and proportionally arranged for easy identification of each part.

Optimized for interactive viewing, this model is suitable for school biology, undergraduate zoology, virtual labs, and anatomy demonstrations.

Canal de las Estrellas P.luche Red

Cazuela proveniente del Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo (GR-CRSD-06-5066-1). Esta cocida en un ambiente oxidante. Como decoración presenta restos de un vidriado melado. A nivel formal la boca es circular y tiene un diámetro de 10cm. Presenta un labio redondeado en un borde entrante que conecta directaamente con el cuerpo. Este presenta una forma redondeada donde se observan distintas acanaladuras en la parte superior. La base es convexa y tiene un diámetro de 12cm. Presenta un asa completa y el arranque de otras tres. De la que se conserva podemos ver que arranca en la base y se asdosa al cuerpo bajo el borde. Ha sido pegada a la pieza a excepción de la parte superior donde permite el agarre.

Cazuela

Cangilón o arcaduz (BAY-23-1274-13-1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 y BAY-23-1296-1-47, 69,70) proveniente de la excavación de *Bayra* (Vera, Almería). El uso de estas formas cerámicas va asociados a norias sirviendo como recipiente para recoger el agua. Este ejemplar ha sido cocido en un ambiente oxidante. En cuanto a su forma presenta un borde exvasado con 13 centímetros de diámetro con una moldura para la cuerda que lo ancle a la estructura de la noria. Esta moldura se repite en la mitad del cuerpo. El último tercio del cuerpo y hasta la base, tiene como decoración una serie de acanaladuras. El cuerpo tiene una forma generál cónica ya que el cuerpo se va reduciendo hasta una base totalmente convéxa de 7 centímetros. La altura total son 24 centímetros.
