The Polar Express

The battery consists of 9 Leiden jars. They are all closed with wooden lids, in which brass rods ended with knobs are mounted. Each of them is connected to the other ones by means of brass rods. The Leiden jar is the oldest form of a capacitor, a device used to store electrical charges. The jars connected in a battery allowed for increasing the amount of the charge stored. This device was independently invented in 1745 by Pieter van Musschenbroek (1692–1761), a professor at Leiden University (hence the name of the device), and Ewald Jürgen von Kleist (1700–1748), a lawyer and scholar working in Kamień Pomorski.
The jar could be electrically charged by contacting the rod with an energised body.

Batteries of Leiden jars

A recreation of the WideLite F-series 1000 model floodlight. This model allows for 1000 watt bulbs to be used and I chose a mercury bulb to go with it. The top tube is a capacitor and I dont think most units have photocells from what I've seen, unless it is that extra stick on some Widelite F-series luminaires.

This took 2 hours to make after tweaking lots of stuff. 

On the other hand, I got a lot of ground covered on seeing the mounting plate of the Op110 and modeling said plate, I just need the rest of the info and as for the 3M signal, I am working on the actual reflective disc to see how I want it to refract or to see how that whole unit actually works.

A highly detailed photorealistic 3D scan of an open Power Supply Unit PSU from a computer or server. The model captures the intricate internal components including the main circuit board exposed copper coils inductors capacitors and various wires and connectors. The metal casing is slightly dusty and worn. This is an excellent industrial prop for adding technical detail and realism to IT server room workshop or sci fi cyberpunk scenes.

Electronic Capacitor Low Voltages

A fundamental electronic component a capacitor stores electrical energy. This particular one is rated for a maximum voltage of 400 volts and has a capacitance of 100 microfarads defining how much energy it can hold. Internal components like rolled up foils and an insulating dielectric material enable this functionality.
