More commonly known as a "Deuce and a Half", these ex-military trucks are fairly common in rural areas as farm vehicles, or offroad toys. They were built from 1950 to 1988, and have served in every conflict around that time.

Im Juli 2015 wurden in Risch-Rotkreuz ZG ein Stosszahn und verschiedene weitere Knochenfragmente (rot markiert) eines adulten Mammutbullen entdeckt. Ausweislich zweier Radiokarbondatierungen gehören die Knochen an das Ende der letzten Eiszeit bzw. in die Zeit um 15‘000 v. Chr.<br>

"*Leucopholis irrorata* (Chevrolat), of family *Scarabaeidae*, subfamily *Melolonthinae*, is a Chafer Beetle considered as pest of Oryza sativa (rice) and Zea mays (maize) in the Philippines. The adults feed on the leaves while the grubs (called White Grubs or Root Grubs) feed on the roots of rice plants by digging through the soil. Root grubs feed on rice during the seedling stage of the crop.

Leucopholis irrorata

The shape of the foot of the monstrance is similar to an oval with concave-convex  profiling. The ornately decorated slope of the foot is divided into four fields with symbols of the Eucharist (grain ears and bunches of grapes), two heads of angels and the coat of arms of the abbey. Two Austrian (re-marking) hallmarks are present on the flange of the foot. The stem is shaped like a candelabrum, made of smooth rings and decorated with foliate motifs. The pear-shaped nodus is decorated with angel heads. It features a sunburst aureole consisting of bundles of conjoined rays of different lengths. Reservaculum has a trefoil shape and is enclosed in a frame with floral and cornice board decorations. The frame is studded with blue-turquoise stones (artificial gemstones made of coloured glass).

This expressive figure deep in brooding melancholy epitomises the interests of the Romantic sculptors.
When first exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1834 it was described as 'a personification, with plenty of verve and ardour, of the evil genius at odds with being powerless.' The bronze inspired numerous other sculptures throughout the nineteenth century. culminating with Rodin's Thinker in 1902. WA2015.48

BullShark (Carcharhinus Leucas), one if not the only shark species that can live in fresh and saltwater. In the top 3 of most dangerous sharks because of its high testosterone (many times that of an elephant in the musth) which makes it aggressive and also its tendency to inhabit warmer coastal waters and even rivers, making contact with humans more likely. Sadly enough overfishing with nets mostly is wiping out this shark species too, and while it will attack a few times worldwide per year at most, we kill 60 million sharks on average each year, take a good look because this shark is becoming rare. And ofcourse the netting will not be done at the coast mostly, still we should preserve:)

Not sculpted by hand, this model is the direct 3D output of the Polytopic Archetypal Projection Protocol (PAPP).

La scultura, proveniente dalla necropoli di Deir el-Medina (Egitto, XIX dinastia), è stata restaurata nel laboratorio di restauro del Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Firenze in collaborazione con La Haute Ecole Arc Conservation-restauration (HE-Arc CR) di Neuchâtel nell’ambito del tirocinio di laurea della studentessa Sofia Bovo.
L'opera di conservazione dell’opera e è stata anche un’importante occasione di studio eseguita in collaborazione con l’Istituto di Fisica Applicata “Nello Carrara”- Gruppo di Spettroscopia Applicata - SABeC CNR-IFAC: il manufatto, infatti, è un complesso polimaterico composto da terra cruda, tela di lino, carbonato di calcio e policromia a tempera.

Strade Dominican Friary, National Monument No. 172.  The abbey at Strade dates to the mid-13th century, when it first started as a Franciscan Friary, established by the Lord of Athlethan (Ballylahan), Jordan de Exeter. The Dominican friars moved into Strade in 1253. The priory was dedicated to the Holy Cross & was a daughter house of Sligo Dominican priory (SL014-068008-).  A papal indulgence granted in 1434  may have resulted in a rebuilding phase of the church.  The carving of the vulning pelican (from the Latin vulnerō, “to wound”) on the north wall of the crossing tower of the friary church dates from the 15th-century.  In Medieval Christianity, the pelican feeding its young with its own blood was a symbol for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross & the Eucharist.  Also known as the Pelican in Her Piety, the bird piercing it's breast to shed blood is an allegory of Christ on the Cross, a symbol of the Passion of Christ. Two speices of Lobate Comb Jellies and 1 Not. Lobata is an order of transparent marine invertebrates belonging to the phylum of Ctenophora in the class Tentaculata, and are commonly referred to as comb jellies or sea gooseberries.
The other (Brown Comb Jelly) is from family Beroidae  more commonly referred to as the beroids. It is the only known family within the monotypic order Beroida and the class Nuda. They are distinguished from other comb jellies by the complete absence of tentacles, in both juvenile and adult stages.

Ausgangspunkt sind Gesteine des Weinviertels, die historische Bürgerspital-Kapelle und die Reliquie als Trägerin von Zeit, Erinnerung und Identität.
Videos, AR-Objekte, AI-generierte „future fossils“, Zeichnungen, skulpturale Setzungen und eine Tanzperformance verdichten den Raum zu einem ästhetischen Resonanzkörper. Located in Strade Dominican friary (MA070-067001-), one of a group of five (see also MA070-067007- to MA070-067010-) no upright where they are mounted up against the south wall of the chancel of the friary church. Tapered graveslab (L 1.9m) of 13th/14th-century date with chamfered sides, served as the lid of a stone coffin. Grave-cover decorated with a cross-fleury or floriated cross with stylised leaf-like terminals or bud-and-leaf terminals.  Possible foliage/leaf/fruit/disc motifs springing from the shaft of the cross symbolising the tree of life.  A cross fleury is a cross adorned at the ends with flowers in heraldry. It generally contains the fleur-de-lis, trefoils, etc.  The Tree of Life represents God's gift of eternal life appearing first in Genesis 2:9 as a source of immortality in Eden & in Revelation 22.2 as a part of the new garden of paradise.
