Logo: We start on a black background. Then two searchlights swoop across the screen, revealing a top aerial view of the 20th Century Fox structure, redone in CGI. The camera pans down and then across the logo, revealing the starry and cloudy blue/purple/orange Los Angeles and Hollywood evening skyline in the distance, before settling into its more customary position and angle. The byline "A NEWS CORPORATION COMPANY" fades in at the bottom of the screen. The structure looks similar to the 1981 logo.

Dedicated To Flip Your lid Animation

20th Century Fox Film Corporation (1994-2010)

A collection of reprocessed scanned animal skulls ([other free assets here](https://skfb.ly/6yQSW)), initally designed to be used as as game props, particles or for optimized renderings. 

**BUT**:  the method I used for remeshing and texture baking was not adapted in this case, and many normal inversions for instance have happened. Moreover, as these assets were batch-processed, I neglected some parts of the material, hence some black zones on the scans... 

You can of course still use them for your projects, but know that the quality on those baked models is not that good! Plus 1024px is too few for those complex objects...

Each model is made of 2500 triangles, and 1024 pixels albedo and normal maps.

The original scans were first remeshed with [mmgs](http://mmgtools.org), and decimated, UV unwrapped and baked in blender. Normal maps are ready to use for Unreal Engine, don't forget to flip their green channel in Unity!

All the original scans come from the great collection of UVic Libraries - @uviclib .

3D Scan of Godzilla toy from NECA, based on Legendary Pictures' 2019 *Godzilla: King of the Monsters* and part of the Monsterverse.

5/21/2020: Re-Uploaded with updated Texture.

3D scanned in color with the Artec Space Spider 3D scanner. Total time spent 3D scanning: 5 minutes. After scanning in initial position standing upright on turntable, the figure was flipped on its left and right sides to capture under the tail and feet. 

Total time processing in Artec Studio software: about 3 hours. This articulated figure was rigid during flipping, however the tail segments moved slightly. In order to preserve this detail and fix the movement in post, the raw data was duplicated and individual tail segments were isolated so they could independelty be repositioned relative to the initial upright scan.

**Prototype Variant**

There is a prototype version of this logo where the rear searchlights animate differently and the front-right searchlight leans further left. Also, the aforementioned Hollywood sign is located directly behind the structure and the Hollywood hills behind the cityscape look different. The byline also fades late. This version appeared on a demo reel from Flip Your Lid Animation. Another demo reel from FYL had this version bylineless.

Nickname: "CGI Searchlights"

Logo: We zoom-out from a golden rotating model of Earth, to reveal it is the standard 1994 20th Century Fox logo except with "FOX WORLD" instead of "20th CENTURY FOX". The "O" is the golden model of Earth. The byline, "A FOX TELEVISION STUDIOS COMPANY" fades-in when the logo forms.

Variants:
* A sped-up version exists.
* Two shortened variants exist. In some cases, the logo begins by zooming out of the structure. In other cases, the camera is already in the finished spot, with the searchlights moving in the background.
* In Troca de Familia, an additional copyright stamp fades in during the zoom-out. This copyright stamp fades out before the byline fades in.
* An in-credit version showing a screenshot or a print version of the logo exists.
The placement of the byline could differ.
* FX/SFX: The zoom-out, the searchlights moving and the Earth rotating. This was animated by Flip Your Lid Animation, who also animated the 1994 standard logo.

Realistic 3D Earth Model With 4K Textures

An old book with page flipping animation by utilizing bone and lattice modifier.

Old Magical Book

The Herculaneum boat was found during excavation work on the ancient shoreline of Herculaneum in 1982. It was found inverted on the shoreline, with the fore of the boat having been stoved in by other timber and debris from the eruption and completely destroyed. The hot pyroclastic flows that hit herculaneum carbonized the other 2/3rds of the boat and buried it, preserving it to this day. The vessel is 8.6 m long, 2.2 m wide, and about 85 cm deep. It was preserved up to the oarlocks, and most of the sternpost was preserved. After removing the boat from the shoreline, it sat in storage for awhile until a method was designer of flipping it over and excavating the inside. The boat is now on display at Herculaneum, along with other nautical equipment found on the shore including oars and a rudder fragment from other boats (but used here). The boat is yet to be fully published, the main resource for this reconstruction was an unpublished 2005 paper by Richard Steffy: https://tinyurl.com/mr2nzm7x

Modeling, rigging and animation done in Blender; texturing was made in Substance Painter. Thanks to the video course from Chunck Trafagander (FlippedNormals), after many attempts since 2018 i finally can create my own material in Substance Designer - road's asset made in SD. Also in this work i used some assets from Quixel Megasans, it's rocks and shrubs models. Soundtrack was made in Premier with free tracks from freesound.org, full list authors names stand in video discription on YouTube.
