According to legend the arm of Royal Secretary Olof Sverkersson Elfkarl, in office during the reign of Swedish kings [Johan III](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_III_of_Sweden), [Sigismund](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigismund_III_Vasa) and [Karl IX](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_IX_of_Sweden).

Olof Sverkersson was called Olof Turncoat in many parts of the country and in [Finland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finland) (which was a part of [Sweden](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden) at that time) they called him Olof Perkelson, i.e. Olof Son of the Devil.

The arm was included in the [Skokloster](https://goo.gl/Mspd5w) collection in the 1750’s when a substantial amount of objects were transferred from Salsta manor, previously owned by the [Bielke](https://goo.gl/F78x9L) family, to Skokloster. The arm had been in the Bielke armoury “since time immemorial”.

The group primarily consisted of wizards and witches who were radical pure blood supremacists, who practiced the Dark Arts with reckless abandon without regard or fear of Wizarding law. Lord Voldemort used this select group of wizards and witches during both the First and Second Wizarding Wars, employing them as his elite force. They often wore black hoods and masks with snake-like eye slits to cover their faces. Only the members of the inner circle of the Death Eaters had Dark Marks burned into their left forearms. When Voldemort touched one of them, each of the Death Eaters felt it, signaling for them to Apparate to Voldemort's side.

Joshua Sawyer later included it in his tabletop RPG, describing it as a much less cumbersome device worn on the forearm, but offering all the functionality of its bigger variant. The device used integrated circuits, rather than vacuum tubes, a flip-up split-screen monitor with three display colors to choose from (green, blue, and red), and could accept up to six data tubes as expansion hardware to expand its functionality. Mayo. Described by archaeologist John Hunt as; ‘The lady has a close-fitting tunic, with tight sleeves fastened under the forearms with many buttons. The dress has a high neck and a cross at the throat. She wears a brat or great mantle, thrown back from the upper part of the body, but covering her waist and knees. This is treated in a pocked technique to suggest a heavy rough texture. The treatment of the figure drapery is looser than Ossory types or than the Meath school—though the style has closer affinities with Ossory than with the Dublin Pale.
