This is the Hardy Tree in [St Pancras Old Church](https://goo.gl/9AiihJ), Camden, London, UK ([OSM](https://goo.gl/ydVXeA)). The tree was reportedly planted by the author Thomas Hardy and the roots are embedded in pile of gravestones.

The point cloud is a combination of a RIEGL VZ-400 scan and a ZEB-REVO (to get detail around the gravestones). Scanning done by University College London ([@kungphil](https://twitter.com/kungphil), [@mathiasdisney](https://twitter.com/mathiasdisney), [@UCLgeography](https://twitter.com/UCLgeography)).

Hardy Tree (Camden, UK) and gravestones

Back with another one of my NPR journey milestones.

This is the Character of the Monk class from a rather obscure dungeon crawler game series called "Etrian odyssey" I really love the art style of the Character sprite so I decided to attempt to imitate its art style.

This model took me the longest to make yet, simply because I have to learn a lot of new stuff this time and the rigging is more detailed (I used rigify). I also tried to lower my polygon count as much as I can while still making the character looks good and ended up with around 20k polygon (around 10k if no outline) big improvement from 70k+ I had before.

[Etrian Odyssey 3] Monk

Omen hunts in the shadows. He renders enemies blind, teleports across the field, then lets paranoia take hold as foes scramble to uncover where it might strike next .

A man with mysterious origins, Omen is focused on hindering the vision of his enemies with things like an orb that strikes those in his sights with nearsightedness and another that bursts to obscure the vision of everyone nearby. He can also teleport a short distance, or use his ultimate to teleport anywhere on the map as a shadow.

Saw this on a highway driving through Nevada, so I HAD to capture it.

**Plane**
In what must have seemed like a good idea at the time, the owners of the brothel promoted an interesting challenge with a very naughty prize. A mattress would be placed in the center of a large star painted on the desert floor—if one were to parachute out of an airplane (airplane provided) and land on the mattress, they would be the lucky winner of a night with the lady of his choice, on the house!

Unsurprisingly, things went horribly wrong. Long story short, scantily-clad women plus distracted, inexperienced pilot plus heavy cross winds equal the plane plummeting straight into the ground. * Orbits are correctly scaled.
* Maximum airplanes altitude is overly exaggerated (by a factor of ~300).
* I'd advice you to visit the [Europen Space Agency (ESA) website](https://www.esa.int/Enabling_Support/Space_Transportation/Types_of_orbits) to understand the different types of orbits, and learn why the ISS orbits around Earth in ~1h40 or why your satellite dish needs to be precisely calibrated.

**Been busy making my minecraft resourcepack in the past couple years. And in the course of it I've made several highpoly sculpt + texture work just for baking realistic textures for various mobs. The highpoly sculpts are separated into parts according to the lowpoly model so it's easier for texture baking.**

The enderman design was mostly inspired from xenomorphs from the alien series.

**Generic back story:** In a forgotten mansion on a quiet town's outskirts, lived **Eloise**, an eccentric recluse with a deep fascination for the spirit world. Her home overflowed with paranormal books and mysterious relics. Legend has it that her obsession began after a childhood near-death experience during a lightning storm, which intensified as she aged. One moonless night, while attempting to commune with the other side, a spectral entity consumed her, turning **Eloise** into the "**Ghost Lady**" She now haunts her mansion, consuming the souls of those who dare enter.

**Description**
Devil's Slide was the location of a military triangulation station and observation site used during World War II as part of the harbor defense of San Francisco. Prior to the advent of radar, military personnel used binoculars and compasses to search for ships at sea and relay their coordinates to a central post. By combining information from multiple observation posts, a ship's precise location could be determined by triangulation. There were six military structures at the Devil's Slide: three concrete and steel observation pill-boxes, two concrete and earth bunkers, and a reinforced steel observation tower.
