*Wiwaxia* had a tiny body covered in overlapping defensive **sclerites**. The hidden, lower surface consisted of a muscular foot and mouthparts for scraping food, like algae, off the sea floor. Wiwixia would have crawled slowly over the sea floor in search of food, as many similar molluscs do today.

Wiwaxia papilio

Yunnan Province, China, ~518 million years old.

Vetulicola had a large **body** with triangular **pouches** on either side and a segmented **tail** for swimming. The pouches may be gill slits opening into an internal body chamber, as found in modern tunicates, such as sea squirts and salps. It is thought that Vetulicola fed by drawing water in through the wide frontal opening to internally filter microscopic food particles suspended in water, with waste water expelled through the side pouches.

Vetulicola cuneata

Yunnan Province, China, ~518 million years old.

*Cotyledion* lived on the sea floor, using **tentacles** to feed on particles suspended in the water. Some individuals have been found attached to small fragment of trilobites. The overall body shape, presence of tentacles surrounding the mouth and U-shaped gut, are characters that unite *Cotyledion* with entoprocts – a modern group of animals that measure less than a centimetre across.

Castle of Loarre

Rocca Calascio is a mountaintop fortress or rocca in the Province of L'Aquila in Abruzzo, Italy.
Built of stone and masonry exclusively for military purposes and intended only to accommodate troops and never as residence for nobles, the fortress overlooks the Plain of Navelli at one of the highest points in the ancient Barony of Carapelle.

Construction of the fortress started in the tenth century as a single watchtower. A walled courtyard with four cylindrical towers at the corners around a taller inner tower was added in the thirteenth century. The lower half of the fortress is built with distinctively larger stones than its upper half. It is believed that this feature was to make its base impenetrable to invaders. The fortress was never tested in battle. However, it was badly damaged in November 1461 by an earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 7 to 8 on the Richter Scale.

Butrón (Basque: Butroeko gaztelua) is a castle located in Gatika, in the province of Biscay, in northern Spain. It dates originally from the Middle Ages, although it owes its present appearance to an almost complete rebuilding begun by Francisco de Cubas (also known as Marqués de Cubas) in 1878. The castle has a fairy-tale look about it inspired by Bavarian castle models. The present building was created as a hobby for its then owner and to create something which is visually spectacular rather than to produce something in which people could actually live. Castle of Rocca Calascio

The military airfield of Saceruela (Ciudad Real) was built during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) by the Republican Army to provide aerial coverage to the Extremadura Front. It is one of the most important airfields in the province of Ciudad Real. In the 3D model you can see two of the buildings that were built to house the personnel of the airfield and to repair the aircraft. There is also an enormous bunker under the subsoil, intended to serve as a refuge in the event of an attack by enemy aviation. This bunker was designed to withstand the impact of bombs of up to 100 kilograms and, as can be seen in the 3D model, had its two entrances next to the two buildings on the surface, in order to facilitate a quick escape from its occupants.

The Complex of Hué Monuments is located within the Thua Thien-Hue Province in the geographical center of Vietnam. Established as the capital of unified Vietnam in 1802, Hue was not only the political but also the cultural and religious center under the Nguyen dynasty until 1945. The Hué Monuments Complex has suffered from the effects of wars, as well as modern development and expanding human settlements.

Onychodictyon has a cylindrical body covered in finger-like **papillae** and two rows of oval-shaped **sclerites**, with pairs of soft legs ending in claws. It shared these features with modern onychophorans (velvet worms) and tardigrades (water bears). Onychodictyon was probably a predator that crawled across the sea floor, using its sturdy curved grasping claws to capture prey and climb over objects. The sclerites on its back may have helped to defend against larger predators.

Onychodictyon ferox

Yunnan Province, China, ~518 million years old.

*Myllokunmingia* had a head with a pair of eyes and a nasal opening, up to six pairs of **gills** housed in pouches on the lower surface of the head, and a **dorsal fin** supported by stiff radial rods. It also had **Z-shaped blocks of muscle** and would have been able to swim freely through the water by moving its body side-to-side like a fish.

One of the largest of the Chengjiang animals, *Amplectobelua* was a top predator that used wide **body flaps** to swim above the sea floor, helped by a stabilising **tail fan**, with large stalked eyes used to spot prey. It had two spiny **frontal appendages** for grasping and holding prey, with three pairs of shorter tooth-like appendages used to shred food as it was passed towards the mouth opening.

San Pietro is a Romanesque and Gothic-style, Roman Catholic church just outside Tuscania, province of Viterbo, region of Lazio, Italy.
Facade of the church
The façade has a large rose window, decked with mosaics, hedged at the corners by the symbols of the four evangelists, and flanked by reliefs with elaborate carvings of plants, menagerie of animals, and a complex iconography of saints and figures of the old testament.
Below is a loggietta and on the ground is a sculpted main portal with a large rounded arch. The nave is flanked by rounded Romanesque arches and leads to a presbytery with a Ciborium for main altar. The presbytery has a geometric mosaic floor. The crypt has gothic tracery.

Wikipedia : The Hanging Temple, also Hanging Monastery or Xuankong Temple (simplified Chinese: 悬空寺; traditional Chinese: 懸空寺; pinyin: Xuánkōng Sì) is a temple built into a cliff (75 m or 246 ft above the ground) near Mount Heng in Hunyuan County, Datong City, Shanxi province, China.
Built more than 1,500 years ago, this temple is notable not only for its location on a sheer precipice but also because it is the only existing temple with the combination of three Chinese traditional religions: Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism.

The gate demonstrates the hallmarks of traditional Chinese architecture: a post-and-lintel structure that supports a graceful gable roof and intricate rafters, as well as brackets that extend the eaves and provide decoration. Like other works of traditional Chinese architecture, no glue or nails were used, and the gate was assembled using only joinery and wooden pins.*
