[Blue Archive]Kasumizawa Miyu

A collection of lowpoly (1500 triangles each) birds, reprocessed in blender from Sketchfab 3D scans and models (have a look at my [other similar assets](https://skfb.ly/6AQyA), or at [this blog post](https://blog.sketchfab.com/tutorial-low-poly-assets-from-3d-scans) to know more about the process I used).

Not all of them turned out as I had hoped (because of poor original meshes), and I had to cut some birds legs not to spend too much time removing the supports (branches, rocks...), but I'm still quite happy with the result.

A .fbx as well as a .blend are available in the archive, along with a "credits" file in which you will find all the links to the original models. Most of the original assets come from [darwinmuseum.ru](https://sketchfab.com/darwinmuseum.ru) and [Innovation Studio](https://sketchfab.com/cmp_innovation_studio) though, so thanks to them!

Lowpoly birds

Low-poly pack of generic civil service vehicles. Suitable for exterior landscape renderings and can be used in gamedev as props, or in mobile games as player vehicle. All cars are bearing minimum to none similarities to real life cars and completly trademark clame proof

Each car has PBR (metallic\roughness) and baked light texture and redactable decals. Available formats: 3dsmax (2018), 3ds, fbx, obj, dae. The interiors are faked and serve a purpose to be visible trough tinted glass, it is done for the sake of polybudget. Archive with all separate cars and textures is uncluded

Residential Neighborhood Test Photogrammetry

I used python and blender to precisely position (units are [parsecs](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parsec)!) 10000 stars from the [HYG Database](https://github.com/astronexus/HYG-Database). 

The star-planes are randomly rotated though, and keep in mind that the center icosphere representing the earth is exaggeratingly big - by a small factor of about 1.5 billion!!

The (short and ugly) bit of python script I used to make this visualization is available on [PasteBin](https://pastebin.com/0vhdGz59) if anyone is interested!

I am quite happy with the look of this model, stars use a transparent/emissive material mapped to the vertex colors created in blender (from each star "color index" if available in the database), and enhanced with some bloom to create halos... 

Next ideas: plot 100.000 neighbor stars, and maybe the Milky Way from ESA's [Gaia Archive](http://gea.esac.esa.int/archive/). That'd be really awesome!

**Description**
Devil's Slide was the location of a military triangulation station and observation site used during World War II as part of the harbor defense of San Francisco. Prior to the advent of radar, military personnel used binoculars and compasses to search for ships at sea and relay their coordinates to a central post. By combining information from multiple observation posts, a ship's precise location could be determined by triangulation. There were six military structures at the Devil's Slide: three concrete and steel observation pill-boxes, two concrete and earth bunkers, and a reinforced steel observation tower. One of those city rooftop spaces seen on tv and movies where all the cool people* seem to be having parties. There's also a bonus space up the stairs with a balcony overlook. The scene is low-poly enough to leave room for plants, furniture, and other props.
